A macOS app that reads the MacBook's built-in motion sensor, so two quick taps on the desk can lock the screen, play or pause music, or skip a track.
Tap That Mac is for people who work at a MacBook and want a quick physical shortcut without reaching for the keyboard. I set the goal and the rules: two taps trigger one action, and a calibration step tunes detection. Claude Code handled most of the Swift implementation, the calibration pipeline, the packaging scripts, and the one-line installer. I made the calls on how the detector should behave when the desk wobbles, and kept the changes that held up.
Early detection read desk wobble and rapid bursts as double-taps, so the detector had to be tightened to tell a deliberate tap from vibration.
I described each problem by what I saw on the desk, then asked for one change at a time. I checked each change on the hardware before asking for the next one.
