LinkedOut takes a messy, honest recap of your day and turns it into an over-the-top inspirational LinkedIn post, gently mocking corporate positivity along the way.
Started with a concept plus one concrete example — a messy day input and the cringe-inspirational post it should become. Before writing any code, worked out a visual identity that played into the joke: a dark, typewriter-styled "raw reality" notepad on one side, and an actual mock LinkedIn post card on the other, complete with a rubber-stamp button and a fake climbing reaction counter. Rather than hand-writing template logic to fake the transformation, the app calls Claude live at runtime, using the original example as a style anchor, so every post it generates is freshly written rather than mad-libbed. Design decisions (color palette, fonts, the "certified inspirational" stamp animation) were made deliberately rather than defaulting to generic UI patterns.
Smooth run — settling the design plan up front, before touching code, meant there was no rework needed mid-build.
One detailed prompt with a clear concept and a concrete before/after example did most of the work, which let the build happen in a single request instead of iterating feature by feature.
