A 2-minute 22-second cartoon short that restages 13 real X posts reacting to Elon Musk's Grok Bot upgrade, with each poster as a character in their own set.
This is a short comedy video for YouTube and X that turns a real X thread into a staged scene, one post per beat, voiced with synthetic voices. ChatGPT generated the character poses and sets, and Claude Code wrote a Python renderer that places each character, swaps eight mouth shapes from the audio, animates on twos at 24 fps, slides between separate posts, and pushes the camera in on the Grok TV screen. I chose the beat order, cut one poster and one line, picked the caption and handle-tag style from an earlier episode, and approved every ElevenLabs sound effect and the outro sting before Claude Code generated it. Claude Code built two editions from the same source: a YouTube cut that fades in, and an X cut whose first frame is a character so the feed preview is not black. Every build runs an automated check: beats in order, captions matching the posts word for word, no open mouths during silence, and loudness at about -16 LUFS.
The tilted paper-strip captions and end-card text looked jagged when rotated at final size; Claude Code fixed it by drawing them at four times the resolution and scaling down. I also rejected an end card with a large separate YouTube icon and kept the icon inline in the text strip.
I watched each cut and asked for one or two specific changes at a time, such as moving a beat, trimming a line, or shifting the music a second earlier. I pointed Claude Code at an earlier episode as the visual reference instead of describing the style, and had it tell me what each paid generation would be and cost before running it.
