This is a small web tool for anyone who wants a sanity check on how much to tip food delivery riders, aimed at people in India thinking about gig worker pay. I asked for a calculator that takes inputs like income, city, and order frequency and outputs a suggested tip, using effective-altruism-style reasoning as the starting framework. The AI built the calculation logic, picked the multipliers for factors like rain and late-night orders, and handled the full visual design. I directed the tone and aesthetic: first a compact ATM-screen layout, then a full-page version, then a light/dark mode, and I pushed back on wording that sounded too self-justifying.

An early closing message on the receipt read like a philosophical defense of the whole exercise ("YOU ARE NOT OPTIMIZING UTILITY... THIS IS DIRECT REDISTRIBUTION"). It read as defensive rather than useful, so it got replaced with a plainer line describing what actually happened: a rider delivered the order, the platform paid them very little, and the tip covers the gap.
