Slopfolio is a portfolio: the work you publish here is public on purpose. Behind that, we keep as little about you as running the site requires. This page is the complete list.
An account, created from whichever sign-in you pick — Google, X, or email — which gives us your email address. If you arrive through X or Google, signup copies your profile photo (and, from X, your bio) onto your new profile — yours to change in settings whenever.
And the rest you'd expect: the posts and profile details you write, the invite code you redeemed, your questions and likes, and light product analytics that tell us which pages get used.
If someone invited you by email, that address stays on the invite record — it's how they remember who they invited, even if you never sign up. Rather it wasn't there? Email hello@slopfolio.com and it's gone.
Asked for an invite from the homepage? That email and the link you gave sit on the request list until a human reads them — the link is how we tell a person from a script, and nothing fetches or checks it but a human clicking. Both also go to the founder's own chat the moment you ask — that's what keeps a request from sitting unread. Rather it wasn't there? Email hello@slopfolio.com and it's gone.
Five services run Slopfolio: Supabase holds accounts, the database, and images; Vercel serves the site; PostHog counts page use and records replays of it — never your private drafts; Resend delivers every email we send; and Telegram carries the founder's own notifications — every significant action on the site, from a signup or a new post to a question, a like, a follow or an invite request — so one person can keep up with a small site. They process your data to do those jobs — that's the arrangement, all of it.
We don't sell your data. Signing in with X or Google only lets us read the profile basics you approve — it never lets us post as you.
Your profile and your published posts are public web pages — that's the point of a portfolio. Your email address appears on none of them. The one thing that can read it is an AI client you connect yourself. The connect screen tells you before you approve it.
Four kinds of email, no more: the sign-in link you asked for, the confirmation that you're on the invite list, the invite that brought you here, and a note when someone asks a question on your post, replies to a question you asked, or starts following you. The notes are on by default and yours to turn off — in settings, or with one click from the email itself. Likes never email you.
Edit your profile and delete your posts yourself, any time. A deleted post's address is retired, not handed to someone else. For full account deletion, email hello@slopfolio.com and a human will take care of it.
